Textured to provide a better grip, its durable, ultra-strong ABS plastic housing is designed to protect the internal workings of the retractable mechanism, and the housing's tapered cord exit limits the potential for debris being retracted back into the housing when the cord retracts. A handy trigger switch on the top-side of the housing also allows the user to easily lock the cord into a range of fixed lengths and/or quickly release the cord to remove tension or to fully retract it.
